Pastoring Is Easy as is the Christian Life Together, getting to know our Father in heaven
Thoughts for Meditation from Pastor Tom
Magnificent Cognizance
This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.I will be their God, and they will be my people. Hebrews 8:10 NIV
No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” Hebrews 8:11-12 NIV
As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:27 NIV
The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 NIV
Magnificent cognizance: Experiencing the recognition of the mind of Christ ruling over your thinking
The experience of your inner self yielding to Christ without thought, discussion or debate from your soul.
The harmony realized when the real man created in his image reaching from within to receive and be one with the Lord is unhindered by self thought and judgment.
The fulfillment of the work of the Spirit demonstrated in and through a yielded disciple who through intentional obedience has “died to self” and become free in love to follow the mind of Christ.
The experience of oneness.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 KJV
Living loved.
